Help answer this question below.

I have a lexmark x5470, it says clear carrier jam, have followed instructions but not clearing. Ink cartridges have moved to right side and wont come back. Only 1 month old, anybody have any ideas how to fix problem?

    Yup, get your receipt and take it back. You're better off with this approach than attempting anything beyond the manual contents. If you mess around with it and break something, you're going to be out your investment.
    Edit: If you can, retrieve the cartridges out of the printer before you take it back. Keep them with you, but don't offer them up at the store unless they ask. Why not at least have some extra ink for your trouble, unless it's against your conscience as I imagine some cartridges did come with the printer.
