Women are stronger than men in some ways, just as men are stronger in more obvious ways. Women are built to have children while men are built to protect their families.

Women have more lower body strength & men have more upper body strength. Source? A personal trainer.

- I'll debate that...I have never met a woman that can squate more weight than a man unless that man was not into physical activities or did not work out...Tell me where you live and I will come there and prove that my lower body is stronger than yours or any of your female friends...

- I didn't say that a woman could squat more than a man. I said that men generally have a stronger upper body & women generally have a stronger lower body...but I have little doubt that a mans lower body would still be stronger than a females.

- Sorry my bad...I see what you are saying now...You were not saying that woman have stronger lower bodies than men but that out of the two parts of the body, men are stronger up top compared to their lower bodies and woman are stronger down low compared to their upper bodies, gotcha...I take back that minus 2 and give you 3 instead...I don't totally agree with that but do to a certain extent, I mean the legs are what we use the most, right? So why would they not be as strong as the upper body if not stronger?

- I suppose that even though people walk a lot, walking doesn't equal more strength but just sustained muscle mass & to get stronger legs you have to do different exercises.

It's controlled by hormones. Testosterone for example. BTW, why is this question in the Computer section?

- It's the hormones that control muscle growth. Testosterone allows the muscles to develop strength when exercised. Women do not have as much so their muscle development generally is limited.

Because they are woman...Not that hard to figure out...Through our history man went out and did the hard work, like hunt and build stuff and they became physically stronger than woman all the while woman stayed at cave/camp/cottage/home and did things that were physical but nothing like what man was doing in order to keep the clan alive...It comes down to evolution I suppose...
