  • Are those your only choices? If so, you should take Chinese. Spanish would be a waste for you, and if you have a Spanish surname, colleges know you were coasting by taking Spanish. Latin is kind of pointless, it will never be helpful to you to talk to anyone, nor will it be required for any jobs. If you have other choices, Japanese, German, French and Italian are all more useful in business and the arts than Chinese for most people.

  • if your already fluet in spanish and english take another language it opens up more oppertunities
  • If you have the fortitude for it I would say Chinese. It will likely be very hard. I say this because I believe it will become quite useful in the decades ahead. . My understanding is that Latin, though 'dead' provides a lot of insight into all romance languages as well as increasing your vocabulary Spanish and English as so many words are derived from Latin, such that a word in English you have never encountered could be 'parsed out'. . Unless your other subjects are killing you, avoid paying to learn what you already know.
