It depends on the state you live in, the children involved, the property and money you have. After 19 years though, I would think they're as good as they can be.
It depends what state you are in and how much money each of you makes.
The basic standard in Virginia is that one person has to make double the salary of the other in order for alimony to be considered.
my husband and i are still married we live in ny sadly, we have a daughter who will be 20 soon(rest will be in next post of story.)
