Why drive, the next town over is less than five miles away from where I live. Quite walkable. But if one drove or got a ride, I'd say with lights and traffic in account, 6-9 minutes or so.

depending on which direction i go, i can be at any one of three OTHER towns in less than a 5 minute drive. Makes my town sound super small, but there are 55,000 residents.

The nearest border is across the Charles River to Cambridge. Four to twenty minutes depending on traffic.

Depends which direction I drive, which vehicle I take, and how much gas is in it.

Somewhere between 3 minutes (closest town and no mechanical failure) and 9 hours (running out of gas at the worst possible place and having to walk to a gas station and back before finishing the drive to the next town).

There are three ways out of this town so I consulted Google which says:
6 miles south is the nearest town,
17 miles West is the next town,
and 30 miles North is the last town.

about 3-5 minutes, depending on the traffic. Not only do I go to the next closest town, I also go to a whole other state. I live right on the border.
