Help answer this question below.

When i put a tape in it plays fine for about 5 minutes then the screen turns blue. no picture or sound. but when i press fast forward, you can see the picture so i pushed play and blue screen again. this does it with only some of my vcr tapes.

    ok. here we go.



    I had a VCr that had bad tracking. That i fixed. Im sure youve tried adjusting the tracking but i dont know. If it only reads some tapes, you may try downloading the manual. Im only 14 so sorry, but tracking s the best I came up with.



    I gave it all I could.

    Shame I came here so late. This problem was almost definately caused by the pressure roller assembly, a simple service item for any good engineer.
