I tried to read this and found the writing to be so trite. But I guess for the target age for this series, quality of writing is not as important as the story. Which is a valid evaluation tool.
It's young girl romance, that's all. The little girls love it and that's why it's soooo popular. It's the attraction to forbidden love and also the romance and drama that seems so perfect in a young girls heart.
It's estrogen overload. Everyone loves a hormone rush.
I personally just enjoy her writing style. She describes the characters and plot in a way that really brings readers (most anyways) into the story. Plus I think the whole vampire/human forbidden love thing is especially fascinating to young girls.
What should an introduction include?
