Well; being as the Federal Government has poured BILLIONS of Taxpayer $$$$ into the auto industry ; I have NO objection to the President making that declaration to the American people and the World.

until 2007, Chrysler was the second largest company in the world. millions of it's vehicles are driven around the world, every single day. it's bankruptcy will have global impact

So when all the hope and change aftermath that makes the Big 3 into the BIG ONE(Big Brutha) he can direct all who can perhaps still afford to invest in a new automobile to "Bite the BIG ONE!" Remember the Cold-War USSR and the great selection of fine autos available(after a years long waiting list) in 1 model and stylishly detailed in your choice of "The People's Grey" or "The People's Gray"?

What I find even more disturbing is the news that the Obama administration will seek to set limits on executive pay for companies that did NOT take any bailout money. Think about that....the U.S. government telling private companies how to run their business. This is getting scary. It very similar to how the German people allowed the Nazi's to take control. I sure hope the opposition to this dismantling of America's founding principles reaches critical mass soon. For the time being the wacky left is getting what they want, the destruction of America. Never has the Constitution not only been so ignored, but under full assault, and not nearly enough people seem to care. Everyone who voted for Obama should be slapped upside the head.
