It's all in how you're raised. Tests have shown that Western cultures are more relaxed around 'our' tonal harmonies and tense around tri-tones and quartertones and whatnot. People who were introduced to atonal music at an early age grew to dislike tonal harmonies. No music is the 'right' music. Ultimately, everyone's cell's taste's are different.
