I wouldn't use the word manipulate, but music certainly can change my mood.
-
Yup, but pictures do it better, Mmmmm. LOL.

Music can certainly enhance my mood.
-
It manupilates me far beyond my mood I love Music
-
Also it can give me power
-
No, it can only influence, intensify or calm my mood.
-
Very much so. This song always works. :-)

absolutamente!! we be jammin' eh!

Absolutely. If you don't want to be angry, then just don't be angry. If you want to be excited, then be excited. It may sound a little over-simplified, but that's the general idea. We have a lot more control over our emotions than we realize.

I think you might mean "affect" instead of manipulate, and yes, it can; but the only people I've known to really be affected by music have been true music lovers. If I have a bad day at work, I can get in the car, put on something relaxing (classical, easy listening, instrumental) and before I get out of the parking lot, I'm fine. Spring cleaning? Only way to get me going is to turn the radio on. The music picks me up and gets the adrenaline moving enough that I feel like getting up and doing.

Absolutely. I use music to uplift me in the morning. I've also, in the past, used music to help get me started on a good cry!
-
I think it can enhance the mood!!!
-
Absolutely! Being a Southern Gospel musician I can say this with great conviction. The song you select to sing can ultimately affect the remainder of the church service. It can also change things for better or worse in an instant.
-
It sure can... and does... and will again! Great question!
-
Yes. If you use the right songs at the right times (like during presentations), you can invoke emotions in your audience to be receptive to your proposals. That's my opinion though...
