No film, book or record was ever that significant. What changed my life was becoming a parent! :)

film: 1968's " Night of the Living Dead " no movie has caused more nightmares through my life [ more recently, " Cloverfield "; it terrified me to no end - I've not watched a movie since of any kind - going on 16 months ] book : " Silent Snow, Secret Snow " - a short story by Conrad Aiken ; possibly the most poetically disturbing, moving pieces of fiction for me record : " The Omen " ( original score soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith ) song : " Ode To Billie Joe " performed by Bobbie Gentry ( this would be a record, too, I suppose; it's the song/record that was one of my earliest memories and it remains just as strong to me as an adult )
