1. Before I submitted any applications, I made a list of the skills that I am best at and where have a proven track record. I made sure that the skills I listed are also those where I am happiest and most confident in performing. After studying your job description, this is the position that most closely matched my list. 2. I am looking for a career, not a job. In return for the hard work and dedication I am prepared to offer your company, I am hoping to be rewarded with a sense of mutual respect and appreciation, and would be happy to hear about ways to advance within the company. 3. I would expect that my salary would be higher than my current or past wages - this is one of the reasons I am looking for a change of employment. I feel that my chances of earning a higher wage were limited in my present/past position, and I feel that your company offers a better opportunity for advancement. 4. By listening to the customer and deciding on the best way I can meet their expectations, and then truly communicating with the customer to meed their needs, there would be no doubt in my mind that the customer recieved the best possible service from me. If there was any doubt in my mind about this, then I wouldn't have truely connected with the customer, and that is not the way I work. By the way, there really is no one good answer. Be prepared to improvise, and try to answer the question honestly - don't try to look for the answer that you think the interviewer is looking for. This could backfire on you because interviewers have a way of distinguishing between those who are sincere and those who are merely acting sincere. Good luck.
