If there's such a thing as luck, then yeah I've had more than my share.I've had a diverse career as far as vocations, hobbies, recreations and personal relationships over the years and some of them have actually worked OK. I've been in dangerous situations where my life was at stake and came through in good shape.I've been lucky.
Yes, I am very lucky.
First I have been lucky to have wonderful children and friends.
I am also lucky because I have had some interesting experiences in my life and have come out on top. The first was when a drunk driver hit my mothers car sending me sailing out of the car. I was wearing a snow suit and landed at the base of a building unhurt.
Over the years I had quite a few more interesting events. Each seemed pretty scary to others but I persevered.
The last remarkable occasion was when I was hit by lightening. It, like other events in my life turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I recovered and gained a new appreciation for life.
I think I am damned lucky despite the fact that some think I am very unlucky...I survived, learned a good deal and found out much more about myself and the world along the way. I'd say that makes me a lucky duck!

I have somewhat bad luck. I base luck on certain criteria. In most cases, I barely pass or fall short. But, it could be worse. And I might be lucky in at least one thing.

I was born to a pair of idiots who made a likely pair - one was a heroine junkie, the other an eight grade dropout. I'm a Fordham grad. I used to play in subway tracks to flatten coins under the weight of oncoming trains. I've ridden in cars with drunken drivers (STUPID, I know). I've had unprotected sex with LOTS of women, and somehow, I'm disease free after years of a myriad of tests (even worse). My job is one where the affluent bend over backward to keep it from crashing, so it's secure.

Ihave the luck of the Irish so that would make me both. Irishmen have the knack for getting into difficult or "unlucky" situations, i.e.,unlucky. However they have the uncanny ability to get out of these undesirable scrapes or situations smelling like a rose, enter the good luck. So remember when someone says they have the "luck of the Irish" if they know of what they speak, that is not so great. Good luck to you.
