  • God has been pushed out of society, thats whats wrong
  • What is wrong is that society itself sexualizes children and condones sexual behavior by permitting pervasive images of younger and younger children as sex objects.
  • Yeeeeah, Bush's abstinence plan is paying off real well
  • I taught 7th grade. You'd be shocked to know how sexually active many of them are. The ultimate responsibility must rest with the parents. Even if society is corrupt, it's up to the parents to train and protect their children from unwholesome influences.
  • That is truly sad...for the mother and for the baby. A teenager has but one body, and has to live in it her whole life--yet she's willing to give it up to anybody. Society is only about the flesh--nothing about the spirit, the mind...nothing about morality and self-respect. Hopefully, she won't make things worse by aborting the baby--and instead give it up for adoption.
  • The same tragedy that befell every generation of every society ever. People always think their time is the worst of times, the end of it all. And life goes on. Things aren't that bad.
  • Parents aren't allowed to punish their children now a days. Those whom want to, the other parents don't care, then you take god out of schools, and allow the government to allow children to get birth control and sex ed in school..
  • 1.) Abstinence being taught in school by gym teachers and outdated films. Not in the home. 2.) Not enough sex education (on how to stay safe). 3.) Children/Teens are being sexualized in the media. 4.) Parents not being as attentive.A girl at my old highschool had a baby at 14, it's only been 6 months and from what I heard, she's pregnant again. I think it has to do with the lack of attn from parents and adult figures. 5.) Many young girls think it's "cool" to have a baby. 6.) Lack of postive role modles in the media. And the postive role models that could be used are often overlooked. It'd be nice for someone to start praising Ghandi, Mother T, or Martin Luther and other great people (not just once a month or a few weeks out of the year). 7.) Children are being too pampered. With all the technology there is for us it seems like we don't have to work for it. We don't know what a hard days work feels like so why expect a girl to know how annnoying and complicated a baby can be.
