I recently read an article talking about top paying jobs that did not require a college degree. I can't remember them all, but one was air traffic controller. you do have to take a training course, but not college degree, and it was a six figure income!
It depends on your definition of "good money." If you good money is south of about $70K, a trade such as electrician is a good choice. HVAC or plumbing are both solid jobs that are near recession proof. All those jobs pay decently, but you ain't retiring by 45, unless you open a business.
You will need some sort of training no matter what you want, if you want a decent paying job.
