I used to have an oscar fish, he was my favorite fish I'd ever had.

Oscar fish aren't generally the most active fish as they get older. Make sure the water is at the correct temperature, the filter is working properly and that his environment is what it should be.

Some pet stores and other places don't keep their feeder fish very healthy. So make sure to check the tank that they keep them in and that they're not extremely over crowded. And make sure he's getting the right size. You might want to try mixing up his diet too...

Here's a helpful link about what to feed him.

You could be overfeeding him, so give him a break and feed him every other day for now. If that's not the problem, then check the ph or the water. You can buy a kit at any petstore and they are easy to use, from there, you can buy the treatments that will help get everything back to normal.
If you have no idea what to do, you can take a sample of water to the petstore and they can advice you on what will help get the water in level and what to use to get your oscar back to health.
    Good luck!
