When I was in high school we used boss, choice, and groovy.

When I graduated and became a hippy, we used far out, trippin', outta sight, and right on!

For brilliant, I would say "brill" or "wicked" or "bad".

Now I say "sweet" or "ace" or "awesome".

I can't quite get the hang of this "sickness" business, I now know how my parents felt when I called my new bicycle "bad".

Yes, like the second set of saying better. Funny how words just take on different meanings. Guess anyone can even make up one and then start a whole new Fad. +6 thanks Daisychain. Oh how I remember Daisy Chains too.

I remember 'brill' and 'wicked'. I used 'ace' when I was a kid but not so much now. Where are you from, and how old are you? I'm late 20s UK.

Actually...."Cool" was popular. So was "doll" for a good-looking guy or girl. Others are lost in the mists of time....
