i wouldnt, and i would hope that others wouldnt. vote for the man, not the party, or the religion.

Hopefully no downrates for answering my own question, but I personally wouldn’t. While a candidate professing the same religion as I might increase the chances of his or her having similar positions on some subjects, that’s *definitely* not a given.

No, because I'm an atheist. However, if there was someone running for office who was openly atheist, it would go a long way towards garnering my support.
