It goes a long way towards paying the dinner bill. :o) This really depends on the person, and how mercenary they are.
-
Not too important, at least for me, it wouldn't worry me a bit, and if the girl does then she is probably not gonna like me
-
It shouldnt be important at all. Money doesnt a make a person, yet a person makes money. If you enjoyed being around someone who you met in a bar and found out they didnt have a dime or a house, would you look back at the bar time and say.."wow..now that sucked"...or know that they are still a great person to be around? I know if I lost all of my money, my family and friends would still be around and I wouldnt change one bit!!

Not important at all. +5

It depends on your expectations. It wouldn't matter at all to me.
-
For my b/f and I, so long as we have enough to do what we like doing then that's all that matters. When money causes problems is when one of you has it and the other doesn't, the one who has it can become resentful for paying for them all the time. Also, if neither of you have any, it can result in not being able to do much else other than stay in which can get boring. Then again, if you'e happy with that then that isn't a problem at all.

well , i would be embarrassed to go out on a date without any!!

2 words....VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

My husband and my boyfriend always says that, there is no money, you don't get honey.
-
guys,pay or don't date.
-
Depends on how much they have ;)
-
Although having money is not a must, it does help when dating. Al least a guy should have money to buy a drink or lunch for his date.
-
Depends if you are a goldigger, which I'm not. I believe in dutch or taking turns paying.
-
It depends on the thinking of the girl or boy you are dating!
-
It is important. It does not determine the worth of the person nor does it influence if I might go out on a date with said person. But it would heavily influence me if I was looking for husband material & he had 5 children by 5 different women all of whom are collecting "child support" which leaves him with barely enough to pay the light bill. It doesn't mean I would not-however it would be a factor that would need to be weighed in. Why do you ask?
