Females: My gyno told me to take my bc pills nonstop, don't take the placebos just start new pack so I wouldnt have a period. I've been doing what she said for 2 months now had periods both times. It's not as heavy but I still get them. What gives?

    I dont know...You really think stopping your period is truely healthy in the long long long run? They say it is...but....is it? Periods arent really that bad...

    But...it will take a little while for you to get used to em. It doesnt always just happen over night. Give it some time, they will steadily go away.

    It's possible that your body is still adjusting to the hormones. It usually takes about three months for your body to regulate and it's completely normal to have breakthrough bleeding during this time period, especially if you take them continuously to stop your cycle.

    I wouldn't worry too much about it, but if it continues, go back to your doctor. You can get a different brand of pill that may work better with your body chemistry.
