Do you think the US would be better or worse, or about the same if we had lost the Revolutionary War?

    There would be no US if we had lost the Rev. War. I would say that nonexistence would probably be worse.

    If Britain had won "The first war on terror", America would probably be the same. George III only wanted to teach the colonial upstarts a lesson "A few bloody noses" and then was willing to give them what they had sought ie representation etc. It would only have been a matter of time until they got their independence, like Canada, so maybe the Queen would still be head of state, but little else would be different, except perhaps the natives would have been better treated and you would have a prime minister and not a president.

    I believe that if the United States had failed to win the Revolutionary War, perhaps Britain would have colonized the New World again. Britain saw the colonies as assets that they were not ready to let go. Perhaps Britain would have remained a world power up until now.
