Hello Cat Lover...well I ain't no lady, haha, but I work in an industry dominated by men. Occasionally I will run into a woman who works in the industry. I specialize in older structures and the restoration of such and there are a few notable women in the field. I will always use a woman names Dianna for applied finishes, plasters and stucco coats. She can outwork most men and no one comes close to her quality...Personally I would like to see more women in this arena.

Loading 3-4 trucks at Fedex (most of the women there were just sorters) I was built after that job, they say "lifting up to 50 lbs" but it was over 100 sometimes, alone. Framer, for pictures, not the premade ones either (thats just a fitter or matter), I loved that job

Yes, I was the 2nd woman ever hired for a Fortune 500 company in the management position I had and took it very seriously. Men who had never worked for/with a woman before, some of them expressed, "I will not work for a woman period". Long story short they all remained. When they realized I was there to help them succeed and began to enjoy their increased success which equated to $$ we all became a really tight team. Every decision, everything I did professionally was under close scrutiny by everyone all the time. I learned when you assist others to become a success your own success comes automatically
