  • Yes, it is capitalized. Eventually, it may change the way that venetian blinds, french fries and manila folders have changed. These used to be capitalized but have become so common that now we don't do it anymore.
  • In normal use when referring to the network we are using to access Answerbag, it should be capitalised because there is only none worldwide Internet. There are other, non-capitalized, internets which are other networks shared between different corporations or governments such as the SWIFT inter-bank transfer network, or various private networks maintained by armed forces. The Internet means the one everybody has access to. An internet is any shared network.
