    Buster Keaton comes to mind. the guy broke his neck once--doing all that incredible running train stunt stuff in The General.
    but I like the good old fashioned scene (Steamboat Bill Jr) where the building falls down & he remains standing through the open window--often copied, but it started here.

    I love the Yakima Canutt in Stagecoach. It's been attempted by other people but they nearly ripped off their legs trying. It's awesome, simple, elegant, no wires or funny stuff. And he did a variation of it in Zorro and his Fighting Legion which was EVEN MORE awesome!!!!! He does a flip and catches the back of there stagecoach. It's rarely talked about since it wasn't a big movie, but a serial.

    And then I loved Jackie Chan in Project A 2
