It died because the load impedance produced by wiring so many speaker in parallel was too low for the amplifier. The speakers should be wired in a combination serial / parallel to keep the load impedance within a reasonable range. can I use all 8 speaker terminals (A+B) of my integrated amplifier, to bi-wire my speakers? currently only using 4 (A).

I have some new speakers and with different speakers I can get both channels working but for some reason I can't with the better pair.

I'm using a HDMI tv as a monitor, and I want to use the speakers attached for my audio. Under the sound properties it labels them as "Not Plugged in". How do I get them to work? I'm using Windows 7.

You're reading I have hooked up 4, 60 watt speakers in paralell, 2, 100 watt speakers in paralell and two 100 watt in seperate to a home stereo and one side died. I've replaced the receiver with another one from the flea market and it's gone too. H
