Do you ever take advantage of "free things" offered by commercial vendors? (Hoping you'll then buy things from them in future) If so, what free thing(s) did you get & was the experience positive?

Amazon gives free music often. I've had no problems and I have only bought one thing as far as I remember.

Yes, I do! I seldom end up purchasing the item they are promoting, though. I try to get as much free stuff as possible, and I will be the first to admit it.

I have gotten many, many free items over the years. And, I have purchased what I have needed. I really don't let the free items affect me because I shop by price and quality.

No. I always avoid situations like that thinking that it might be a scam. When I was a kid I got sucked into one of those "on approval" scams, and I've never gotten over it.

Yes, I have, any time there is a demonstrator in any store I shop in, it can be free food samples, free wine samples, cleaning products, money off coupons, free sessions in the gym. I don't feel any pressure to buy from them in the future.
