  • No, I am not a subscriber, Al Gore, et al, to the contrary. Firstly, after the last several winters in North America and Europe, who really thinks the earth is warming up? Winters have been lasting longer here for the last several years. Some say the North Pole and Arctic ice is melting away. I am not sure of the validity of the statements. Ships would be encountering more icebergs all the time if that were true. Are they? Climate does change and shift naturally, in cycles. There was a "mini ice age" only a hundred and eighty years ago in both North America and Europe. The last one before it was in the sixteen hundreds. We are almost due for another one. They last about five to ten years.
  • "global warming" is a misnomer. "Climate change" is the more accurate term. Its generally agreed that the overwhelming odds are that its human civilisation caused. When it comes to the defining truth on a subject: Documentary =/= Hundreds of scientific journals + billions of dollars of research
