Help answer this question below.
Take a home pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.
Like the others mentioned, though, your child is probably eating more, and your body is trying to keep up! It's important to eat when you're hungry, especially when breastfeeding, so have healthy snacks when you need them.
Also, most women who exclusively breastfeed do not have menstrual periods.
Hope you feel better soon!
It is normal for many women not to have periods while breatfeeding, but it does not mean they cannot become pregnant. Go to your doctor and get some reassurance.
Definitely test to put your mind at ease. But hunger and exhaustion may just mean you need to up your calories and especially your fluid intake. It is very common with nursing moms.
Don't be surprised if it's a while before you get your period again. I think my first son was 15 months when I got it back after that pregnancy. Nursing at night definitely helps keep it away longer, but I imagine that with a 4 month old, you must still be nursing once during the night at least...?
It could be that as your child gets older and is eating more, your body is simply requiring more energy to keep up with your baby's demand. It could also be that you are pregnant or any other number of issues. I would take a home pregnancy test and consult a Dr. if you are still concerned.

You're reading I have been exclusively breasrtfeeding and taking a breastfeeding safe pill for 4 months now. However I have not had a period in 2 1/2 months. Lately I have become extremly hungry and exhausted. I do sleep through the night. Could I be pregnant?
