  • you should get a turkey baster and suck it out the best you could and refill it with brake fluid i dont know what it could go but its probably not good
  • more effort will be needed to apply brakes
  • That is not good. The rubber seals in the brake system are not compatible with transmission fluid. A professional mechanic will probably insist upon completely rebuilding the brake system, to avoid liability for any future failure. HOWEVER, if the transmission fluid has not been in there long (no more than a day or two), you can PROBABLY get away with the following: 1) Go purchase several quarts of brake fluid and a turkey baster. 2) Use the turkey baster to remove as much fluid from the brake fluid reservoir as possible. 3) Pour in some fresh fluid. 4) COMPLETELY bleed the brake system several times. I would attempt to extract *at least* a quart of fluid at each wheel. 5) Top off the system with fresh fluid. If you thoroughly bleed the braking system, any tiny bit of residual transmission fluid probably won't do any harm. Good luck.
