Accepting a credit card offer when I turned 18, (almost 11 years ago) at the "low introductory rate" of 26% APR was a big mistake. I think my ultimate big mistake was dropping out of high school and working nearly a decade in dead end jobs before finally going to college.

I don't think I really made any mistakes by my views because I did everything I felt was right. I made some extremely costly judgment calls in the past... but money is not everything... just almost everything *.*

My personal biggest money mistake was getting caught up in getting cash advances from check writing places! You can get more than one (from tapping different companies - another thing you're not supposed to do!) but you can get so screwed up that way!
