• many of those brave men and women signed up wanted to fight the people resposible for the 9/11 attacks.. As we all should know by now, Iraq had NOTHING to do with 911. Bush most certainly DID make them to to Iraq. If they refuse to go they would be thrown in jail.

• Is there a single soldier in the army who signed up just because of 9/11 and hasn't resigned for his own reasons. All those who signed up right after 9/11 and got disillusioned have long since completed their enlistment. The soldiers there are there because they think they are doing the right thing. Kinda like those sitting safely at home criticizing their mission.

• I think soldiers know from the start they can be told to go anywhere anytime. They're not mere victims, they're good citizens who are part of something bigger than themselves. They don't go in harms way for Bush or Obama, they do it for you and me and mostly for their fellow soldiers.

• Actually there aren't countless lives lost, they have been counted, various ways. Though I also wonder if it isn't just an example of an "elephant repellent", Iraq and Afghanistan have been handy in drawing the hardcore Jihadis and possibly preventing another terrorist attack against the US.
  Iraq had, and hid WMDs since the 80's and played hide and seek with inspectors right up until the invasion. If you pretend you are hiding something, people will probably believe you are hiding something.
  If you are really after OBL, does that mean that you would support an invasion of Pakistan?

• You should probably check international news reports. I get much information there that simply isn't reported in the US -- for instance, the recent hard line the Obama administration has taken with Iran. Hillary Clinton's far more bellicose words were reported 48 hours earlier in Europe than in the US.

• At least the one's who have ties to the Council on Foriegn Relations, the Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg Group, or the Federal Reserve. Which would be virtually everyone on Obama's staff along with Bush's.

• It's actually become more deep than that now. The politicians who are in it for money have been corrupted and are now puppets of people even more powerful than they are. They aren't in it for money -- they PRINT the money and control the banks -- they have all the money they want. They are all in it for CONTROL and power to remain the elite.
