  • Yes, Ms. Kitty was my favorite character.
  • Of course. At one time (may still be) longest running tv series in history. James Arness played Marshell Matt Dillon. Arness is the Brother of Peter Graves (born Peter Aurness) who played Jim Phelps, leader of the Impossable Mission Force (IMF) the the television series Mission Impossible. Now, of course, I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, but......
  • Sure, I loved it. Did you like Festus or what the heck was Dennis Weavers stage name?
  • It comes on everyday ato 3:00 p.m. here. Plus James Arnez has a site and he is in his 90's and still does charity work with his wife.
  • Of course. I liked watching the guns and shooting but I still can't figure out one thing. And that's how come I have to reload after six shots and they can shoot forever without reloading. :-) My favorite actor on the show was Curtis Wain Gates, better known as Ken Curtis with his role as Festus Haggen. :-) Now, do you remember the radio version that ran from 1952 to 1961? +4 :-)!!!
  • Oh I loved that program!
  • "Gun Smoke"? Sure. Longest running drama show in the U.S. Aired from 1955 to 1975. Imagine a show that was introduced NOW .. lasting for twenty years!! (other than game shows or soap operas) Here's a toast to good old Matt Dillon and to Miss Kitty too! Where were they? Ummmm .. Dodge City, wasn't it? :)
  • Yes. My grandparents always watched it on Saturday nights back when it was first filmed in the 60's I think. I still like to watch it and it reminds me of those Saturday nights, now many years past, at Grandma and Grandpa's house in the country. I liked Festus' mule Ruth and Matt's big buckskin horse!
