Block island is family fun... at the tip of long island sound... a good place to go whale watching.

A friend has an 85 foot broward, we sailed up there a couple of times.

Not as flu flu as fire island... which can be too full of itself... but has some great great parties and great eats.

I never have, but one of my sisters spends a lot of time there throughout the summer months and she loves it. Don't know if that helps any!
