• Oh yeah,it is similar to this site,and there are many 'social' 'threads' but in the main,it is different and takes a while to understand the complexities of the site.

• I liked the site till I got hounded for some 'not so correct' information I posted got flagged and I got hounded by a 'correct' member,she made my life in there a living hell,so I left for a few months and came here.Didn't make her settle down though till the moderators got on her case for insulting remarks and told her to settle down,she hasn't but there is an 'ignore' feature over there which makes life a little easier.

• We are only speculating. We've put together alot of loose ends and there are several viable opinions. We think Demand media might sell to SOMEONE, since they arne't worried about the fixing the glitches, but we don't know who. We also think the "new servers" were never there in the first place, that it was an excuse for not fixing the new batch of glitches that showed up.

• only if everyone of us moved over there and took it over, but I really don't think it would do anything as Yahoo has to many religious cretins as members and they seem to hold sway over the Moderators in Yahoo and many of us would be banned for standing up against them ...its happened in the past so many times and it would happen again in the future

• a great many ABers have been through the same things over at Yahoo, thats why they came over to AB ( years ago ) to find a much better class of people ... yes AB does have a few fools but compaired to Yahoo they are very very much in the minority

• I will certainly try. I had to take a couple of weeks away because I was so busy. But I'm back at the library using their computers until I can buy an wireless router (internet stealer) strong enough to feed off of my neighbors signal!

  I won't lie, YA had some characteristics that were good and that I wished were implemented on here, but they were far more "censored" than AB. I actually got booted off of YA and had to enter under a different email address, while here on AB I (surprisingly) haven't even made it to the penalty box!

• I didn't know there was any such thing as an internet signal interceptor type of thing. How much are they? Since my grandparents have wireless IS, caould I set up my computer in their house without having to pay for extra service?

• Probably so as long as they don't have it password protected and if they do, if they would give you the password, you could probably use it.

  I think the item I'm talking about is called a wireless adapter. As long as you have a place to plug it in your computer you should be able to use it. The one's I've seen at Wal-Mart go anywhere from $40-70.

• Agreed, I think Yahoo Answers is terrible and no way near as good as AB. Like you Sarah, I'd try and find another website similar to AB but better than Yahoo Answers. You can't even post questions of an Adult nature on Yahoo Answers without getting reported. Happened to me twice!!
