Is internet dating such a good idea?

Well let me ask this question to answer yours. Is meeting people at a bar better were you are dealing with a drinker who is cruising for sex? Is the grocery store better? You are going to meet losers where ever you go. With internet dating you are at least gong to have a chance of meeting a nice person. You get to chat with them on line first. Then you can talk on the phone. You can do all this before ever meeting in person.

id give out false information, dont gve out your address and really personal stuff like that, use your middle name instead of your first name or something. as long as your smart and careful about it then yes it is a good idea. and before you meet someone, try talking on the phone cause then you could get a better estimate on age but its not perfect and take someone with you if you meet

You have to be extremely careful, I did use internet dating, never gave out my home phone # always my cell, never my address. You can also check them out after you get their name on FB - surprisingly you do get some info on them. Always meet in public places and tell someone where youre going and have a friend pick you up from your date. That being said, do not embelish yourself, be honest, no use to start something on a lie.let You will have alot of "weeding" to do, lots of people lie as to what they are looking for.

its definietly not for everyone. but i gave it a try twice and in my experience i'd say its not for me... i've been lied to and found out things i didn't want to know instead of being told to my face, and it sucks to find out bad news like he actually has a gf or something just as worse. so many people lie in the internet. i hate being lied to so i gave it a rest. but if you want to try it, do your research on that person first, not stalker-like, but just enough to find any red flags that are deal breakers for you! and DON'T send any naughty pics! it can send the wrong message about you and what you want, plus you'll never know where they'll end up!!
