Normal time is just a few minutes. 17hours and light headed is too much. And next time, to avoid injury, sleep with a white dude!

the same thing happened to me a couple nights ago and Im still lightly bleeding off and on but Im just wondering how long it takes to heal... The problem is that I cant find any ACCURATE answers and I cant stress that enough because so many know-it-alls keep posting answers in forums about something which they obviously know nothing about. I know I broke the hymen, Im not wondering if I did... Its not my period, I was having intercourse and felt AND heard a popping noise... Weve had sex before but it kinda slipped and poked me real hard and it hurt really bad... then my lady parts started gushing blood which makes me really queasy because I was freakin out OMG!!! Every answer I seem to be finding is someone telling the girl, dont be silly, its your period... wow, no its not. Or they say its useless skin and it has no nerves... oh yet another lie. It has nerves... duh, it has nerves... the opening of the vagina has more nerves than it does in all the rest of it internally... The hymen is located at the opening and most girls feel pain down there when it breaks during their first intercoursed... Sure, it could be stretched instead... but suppose something ever jabbed into it, it could still break... I know mine is still there because I can see it and it has a large rip in it now. I just want to know how long before I can comfortably and safely, without bleeding, have intercourse again... Obviously if its still bleeding I cant yet.

Light headed can mean loss of too much blood. Get a sweet drink and a cookie, then lay still and call the doctor for advice.

17 hours of bloodloss and lightheadedness = trip to emergency room. You could have a coagulation issue or other blood condition. Get to a doctor.

In my opinion, that is way too much. Call or go to a Dr. or ER.

Get to an ER now unless you want to bleed to death. You are having clotting problems.
