Help answer this question below.

In the song "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon, tell me if you think Mick Jagger comes in on backing vocals on the second chorus. It so is, but I need more opinions, especially since the song could be about him.

    I had always heard the song was about Warren Beatty. Mick Jagger does do backup vocals in the song. Here's an article.

    Yes, it is Mick Jagger on backing vocals. However, the song was not about him, and to this day, Carly Simon refuses to say who it was about. Most people believe it was about Warren Beatty, however, since Carly, as a very young woman, was added and discarded by him.

    Mick did back up on the vocals, altough that was never publicized.
    I'm incline to believe that the song is about Mick. I know he did have an affair with Simons, but whether or not it was about him or Beaty, i really dunno for sure.

    It's Mick Jagger singing backup. I saw it on one of those behind the music type shows on TV. As for who the song is about, Carly Simon sold the secret to some guy. Only she and he know for sure who the song is about for sure.
