• HOT MILK TOAST?!?!

  AWESOME! I LOVED hot milk toast when I was a kid! Butter the toast, pour hot milk over it, and maybe a pinch of salt.

  I used to LOVE pouring the milk so that the outter crust was still slightly crunchy at the corners and the middle was soft!

  I haven't had any in years. My wife looked at me like I was sick or something when I told her about this.

• Aris is grossed out at the very thought. My family also would take cold milk, pour some in a coffee mug, and break soda crackers in it. Then eat it with a spoon.

• My one sister still eats it now and again. It's a comfort food. That is the type of thing they ate, growing up in the depression era. When you are on a farm, you always have milk. And toast or crackers are easy and cheap.
