As a Canadian, and a History Major, I can give some examples:
- The numerous betrayals of Native allies by both French and English-Canadian colonists
- Like America, Canada once allowed African slavery - though not nearly as long
- The forced cultural-shredding of Native Canadians in state-endorsed Residential Schools, where students were punished for speaking their own language, and taught to assimilate in White-Christian society.
- The illegal, arbitrary internments of many Japanese-Canadians during World War II
- The rejection of Indian immigrants (including Sikhs, Muslims, and Hindus) aboard the Komogata Maru, as part of racist immigration policy
- The execution of Louis Riel, who was a political rebel that fought for French and Native rights. He certainly commit some major crimes, but none of them were legally subject to the death penalty. Some say, he was made an example of, to appease the anger of English-Canadians.
- Canada was strongly against the use of chemical weapons during the Vietnam war...yet, they allowed the US government to test "Agent Orange" on Canadian soil, possibly contributing to its deployment in Vietnam.
A canadian beat me at World of Warcraft once, I called him a sneaky canadian because all canadians are sneaky and smelly, he got mad and reported me to the admins, that wasn't peaceful at all.... Jerk.

I'm aware of the forced native assimilation. But not aware of the Japanese Canadians internment during WWII nor the African slave trade (Underground Railroad is not far where I live), nor the Komogata Maru. Could you please provide sources and/or links so I can read up on. Thanks!
