Help answer this question below.

A friend bought hydrocodone from someone and took it, she broke out in this red rash. my dad said it could be from it being her first time on it, but i dont think it was hydro b/c it happened to some other kids who had done it before, was it side effects?

    i have heard of that happening to alot of people before and its not necessarely a side effect its because alot of people are allergic to it and BTW hydrocodone is VICODIN so your friend shoudl not buy it, its illegal to buy it needs to be perscribed to you

    Anytime you have a rash, or hives, swelling of the tongue, breathing problems are all signs of an allergic reaction. These are not side affects, side affects are usually upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea.
    Large oblong white...could be vicodin and it is highly abused

    I'm not sure I understand your last statement; are you saying that other people took the same pills and experienced the same side effect?

    I'm sure it was a side-effect. Itching and therefore skin irritation is the most typical side effect of any opiate/opioid, after analgesia and euphoria.
