I e-filed and have received my federal return but state status has been "under review". In general what does this mean, and when should I expect my refund?

State (which one?) is possibily double checking your 'tax withheld' against your w2s. You can call your State Tax Board and they should be able to tell you what the hold up is. Usually State refunds come back quicker than the Federal!
