  • Perhaps you could mention what brand and model of TV you are talking about since there are likely hundreds of different ways based on how your question is asked. In the mean time turning off your tv will fix the problem ;)
  • look on line for the tv manual. Otherwise there should be a menu button on the TV with pulldowns, look for the PIP and click remove.
  • In most cases just turning the TV on and off would solve this, but Im sure you must have tried that. You can also buy either the exact remote contgrol for your TV (try second hand first - ebay...) or a remote that works for many TVs. The latter may not fix the PIP though as not all buttons on the original remote may be reproduced. Most TVs have buttons at the front hidden behind a panel. Try pressing each one in turn to find out what they do. Without the make and model of the TV - you are not helping us much.
  • Sorry everyone, I forgot to give the model...it is a Panasonic 32 inch model number CT3207DF. It is not listed on the panasonic website and the remote is no longer offered by panasonic. I have tried several places to look for manuals, however the one I need is not available. There are no hidden buttons on this TV, i have pressed every button imaginable and nothing works. Of course, if I had the original remote i could just hit the "PIP" button and it would go away!! But the universal remotes I have do not resolve the problem.
