Help answer this question below.

I have an Acer 5570. the monitior is broken. Fn F5 does not work. I can get an external monitior to work but only in the safe start up mode. In this mode I can not get into default setting to disable the built in monitior. Help.

You have to replace the keyboard, which it pretty easy also you can get into safe mode because your keyboard broken. While you have your computer apart, just disconnect the monitor from the motherboard. If I was you just replace the monitor, and get it over with it. Second You don't need to disable the LCD monitor for you computer to work right, I never did but your problems is your keyboard, one key is broken and doesn't allow you to reach a regular stat up and or last configuration. 0 gravity

Agreed, yeah you'd have to replace the keyboard. Or perhaps you could try to hook up a keyboard, but I'm not sure if that would work or not.

I tried to watch a Blu Ray DVD on my Sony Blu Ray drive. A box came up telling me that the "AACS key" had expired on it. What on earth IS that, and what can I do? Now I can only watch "certain" BluRay's on my puter. The older ones. Ideas? Thanks!!!
