ANyone who says they have never gone back on a promise, is kidding themselves. We all do. Let me count the ways. LOL

I have more than once - not intentionally. I always feel bad when I don't or can't keep my word - especially when it's to myself!
-
Yes, I have many times and Yes, it did make me feel guilty...

Ey, I have broken a promise, to a friend, my only friend... I don't feel guilty, about anything... don't now why, I probably should... I "broke his heart" apparently, to which my response was! "I did make the promise yes, but my fingers were crossed the whole time so I was wide open", I mean come on, I’m a fully grown man with the maturity levels of a five year old and a bum leg... you can't actually expect me to keep to my word… Can you?
-
No, I actually havent. I try really hard to stay with my promises. But I have had it happen to me.
-
I never make a promise unless I am sure that I can keep it. I hope that I can say no I have not broken a promise. I do hate people that make promises easily then back down. If the circumstances made it impossible for me to keep a promise I would try to make amends as soon as possible.

yes i've broken promises but i like to think it is only when it is unavoidable. my best friend told me something and asked me not to share but then he scared me with some of the things he was telling me so i informed someone who could get him help. i never regeted it and he forgave me almost right away.
