Poetry is one of the most beautiful forms of self-expression there is. And anybody that's literate can create one if they want. It's great! So do you have to be dorky to like it? No. Some of the best loved men and women during their lifetimes are poets.
I don't think so. I'm no poetry buff, but whenever I hear it or read it somewhere I always enjoy. For me they're verbal paintings and if they're done well, then they can take you the place that so inspired the person to write them in the first place. I love 'The daffodils' by William Wordsworth because it was apparently inspried while walking around Ullswater in the Lake District (UK). I go there quite often and I can see why he found it so inspirational.
No just intelligence.
Then I am dorky for poetry if it is.
its dorky to like poetry.
it is even dorkier to write poetry.
I don't think so. I think it adds a whole new facet to a person and it the multitude of talents and interests that make people fascinating to me.
No. Poetry is great. I like people who like poetry. It shows they think about things and are interested in more than eating and sleeping and watching TV. Usually people who don't like poetry are dull-minded. Some poetry are "dorky" though.
I think it's sweet.
No, not at all. Poetry is expressive and pure!
No, it's nerdy. Embrass the nerdiness with the rest of us!!!
