Best ways of getting promoted?

Had friends work there. Always be helpful to co-workers. Pick up the broom or mop during slow times. Ask the manager to train you on all the positions. Never be late. Do not get caught up in skuldugery and let your co-workers you won't tolerate them being dishonet. A record is a record is a record, keep it clean. Do not whine or complain. Be thoughtful and respectful of others. Good Luck!

Why would you want to get promoted? I quit because my boss was terrible. He went to college to work at Mcdonalds, what a joke.

I work at Mcdonalds now, and that's the last place I said I would ever work. I thought it would be embarrassing, and somewhat trashy. But when I started I started liking it. On my first the whole crew including managers introduced themselves to me, they were extreamly nice. They manager showed me how to work the register, and the I had somone on the side of me helping me whenever I needed it. I did pretty bad on my first day. Well on the register I had so many over rings, becasue I would press the wrong button or I would put in the wrong amount of money it was crazy. The next day I came in and had no problems I did wonderful on it. Their was a whole new crew and they were juss as nice. I love them managers still wonderful, and the other crew members. I made friends with a lot of them, and they helped me and showed me so much in one day. I got the hang of the register and the fries, the sundaes. Haven't tried the cone yet or the milkshakes, the mccflurry is going to take me some time getting use to, and bagging i'm getting there. Over all I love it the custemers can be very rude though. On my first day I had a rude custmer and my second and third day. My fourth day I did not very pleasing. Mccdonalds is not a bad job if your with the right kind of ppl. My managers make sure you do your job they let you get over time very flexible with people in school, and they let you have fun while your working, but they are professinal. Well the one I work at. No one has bad attitudes, no one is mean. I thought I was going to hate my job, but I wound up liking it, and plus minimum wage for a High School student is perfect for me. I only got the job for side money. For clothes and shoes when my parent's tell me there not giving me anymore because I already have enough. The good thing about the mccdonalds that I work at is that if your their for 6 months, you will get an employees evaluation and if you pass you get a raise!!! Can't wait for my six months. I have a long time because I juss started last week!!!

I used to work there but I got fired after I put my ass in the deep fryer.

Not to put anyone down but why would you want to be promoted at mcdonalds? If you can get a promotion at mcdonalds im pretty sure you can find a better job.

for instance a waitressing job would probably pay a lot more if you include tips
