Why do you think God views killing as a major sin? People/spirits who kill in war will suffer greater when they return to Hell.

You're reading If you love Jesus with all your heart and accept him as your lord and saviour, but do bad things in the world, will you go to hell?

Really? So Hitler is in heaven? He was christian...

As much as I hate to say it he may be. I was raised christian and once you accept christ as your savior (sincerely) you are going to heaven. Your reward in heaven will be adjusted by your acts on earth. I'm agnostic nowadays but that's how christianity works.

That's messed up, though. Hitler deserves to be in hell for killing 60,000 jews in the camps. If that's how christianity works, then I don't want to be christian.

With christianity, everything revolves around your acceptance of Christ, not your acts/deeds on earth. You could be the most outstanding person on the planet but if you haven't accepted Christ as your personal savior you won't go to heaven.

That's what I don't understand. If someone really loved Jesus with all their heart, then they wouldn't do bad things in the world.

Go figure! :-)

Many Christians don't understand this concept just as you don't Jacob but they still participate in it. Bunch of idiots in my opinion. Why would anyone want to spend eternity with people who could have been terrible in life?

Heaven is supposed to be full of peace, and you can't have peace with people who do wrong in life.

Yes...one of the many disappointments of Christianity.
