I like the eDonkey network and usually access it through MLDonkey with the Sancho front-end. It's a little tricky to set up initially, but it's worth the pain. I can download from HTTP or FTP with full pause/resume, even if the site doesn't normally allow that. I can find twenty times the stuff you can on Limewire (which uses the inferior Gnutella network). If you are stuck on torrents, well, MLDonkey can do that too. Just download the *.torrent file, open it in Sancho, and let it MLDonkey do it's thing. (Not *quite* as easy as other torrent clients, but eDonkey has stuff you can't find on torrent sites and I like all-in-one programs.) And it does it all without annoying ads or spyware :)
