Buying a Sanyo !!??
Maybe the tabs in the tape have broken off, otherwise i dunno. Check that you have the imput cable (coaxial or 3 color)connected to the correct jack.
I have a Panasonic Omnivision VCR. wHEN i SWITCH TO vcr mode the screen is dark and fuzzy. I can't use any buttons on the VCR remote

After I set the timer, on my Emerson EWD2003 vcr/dvd combo, and turn the machine off, it does not start at the set time?

Suddenly on vcr playback, the image periodically switches to blue screen alternating with fast-forward mode. Happens with both home recordings and commercially bought tapes
