The thylacine, or the Tasmanian tiger as it was known. An amazing and weird animal that became extinct less than a hundred years ago. It was a marsupial wolf, and that is only half the story.

The Dodo. Flightless island bird made extinct because they were easy to catch and tasted good to sailors.

- I think Dodos were fascinating creatures. A flightless bird a metre tall with a funny head and short legs. I'd like to see one live.

it would have to be a mammoth. I do not want any of those big dinosaurs...we have enough trouble with people with big dogs as pets....imagine a T Rex. aaaggggh.

The Brontosaurus. Just imagine how much meat you would get from one of those. I almost put how much milk until I remembered that they were not mammals.
They also look so friendly compared to most of the other dinosaurs. They dont fit the "terrifying lizard" title which is what dinosaur means I think.
